Mumbai reported zero Covid-19 deaths on Saturday, for the second time since the pandemic began, as per a BMC report. The city had reported no Covid-19 deaths for the first time on October 17 this year.
As per the report 256 people were found to be Covid-19 positive, while 221 recovered in the last 24 hours. On Saturday, 44,380 tests were conducted.

The recovery rate in the district is at 97 per cent. Mumbai currently has five Omicron cases.

The doubling rate in the city has increased to 2592 days, while the weekly growth rate has increased to 0.03 percent.
