Tunisha Sharma and Sheezan Khan
The Waliv police have recovered the mobile phone of actor Sheezan Khan, accused of abetting the suicide of his co-actor and former girlfriend Tunisha Sharma, and claimed that Khan had deleted his chat with a woman with whom he had spoken for two hours over call after Sharma's death.
The cops produced him before Vasai Killa Court and sought his custody for five days. However, after hearing Khan's lawyer's arguments, the court remanded him in police custody for two days. Cops also told the court that they have found a love letter from the set that Tunisha Sharma had written. The letter read: "Sheezan <3 Tunisha. He is blessed to have me as a co-actor Woohoo !!!" The police have not found any suicide note from the set in Vasai where Sharma hanged herself to death on December 24. They also said that they suspect Khan was having an affair with a woman after breaking up with Sharma.

Cops also informed the court that they have found Sharma's mobile phone which was damaged. They suspect that Sharma damaged it before taking her own life. While seeking Khan's custody at the Vasai Killa court on Wednesday, cops said they needed five days of custody to find out the exact reason behind Sharma's suicide.
Advocate Sharad Rai, for Khan, said, "Sheezan is innocent and all allegations are false. The love letter police found from the set is an old one. Sharma wrote this on men's day and it was kept on the table in the makeup room. The allegation that Sheezan has multiple girlfriends is also false."
"In fact, Sheezan was taking care of Tunisha even after they broke up. We need a fair investigation in the matter. It is true that Sheezan deleted some chats with the woman, but the police are recovering it and we did not object to it," he added.
