Three coaches of 11005 Dadar-Puducherry Express derailed at Matunga station in Mumbai on Friday night, a Central Railway's chief public relations officer informed. "As of now there are no reports of injury to anyone," he said.

"There were no reports of anyone getting injured in the incident which took place around 9.45 pm, just after the train departed for Puducherry from the Dadar terminus here," he added. Further details are awaited.
This is the second derailment on Central Railway this month. Earlier, the Lokmanya Tilak-Jaynagar Express (Pawan Express) near Nashik in Maharashtra on April 3, 2022.
While the Central Railway's slow line local trains' schedule was affected due to derailment, the official informed that it has been restored at 10.45 pm.
Due to derailment CR cancelled two long-distance trains.
