The family of an ailing woman weighing 160 kg sought the help of the fire department to lift her up after she fell from her bed in Maharashtra's Thane city on Thursday, a civic official told PTI.
The 62-year-old woman, who has mobility issues due to her poor health, accidentally fell from her bed around 8 am in their flat in the Waghbil area.
However, her family members were unable to place her back on the bed, said the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
According to Yasin Tadvi, chief of TMC's Disaster Management Cell, the panicked family members then called the fire officials for help.

A team from the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) rushed to the flat, lifted the woman up and placed her on the bed, he said.
The woman did not sustain any injuries due to the fall, the official told PTI.
While RDMC responds to several emergency calls, this was an unusual one, the official told PTI.
In another incident, seven members of a family had a narrow escape when a car in which they were travelling caught fire in Maharashtra's Thane district, civic officials told PTI on Monday.
The car was completely charred following the incident which took place at around 10 pm on Mumbra bypass when the family members were on way towards Thane city, local civic body's disaster management cell chief Yasin Tadvi told PTI.
The car suddenly caught fire following which its occupants - two women, as many men and three children- immediately got out of the vehicle, he said.
Local firemen and disaster management cell team members rushed to the spot after being alerted and put out the blaze in about half-an- hour, but the car was completely charred, the official told PTI.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, he added.
Meanwhile, a 28-year-old man was injured after a portion of a building fell on him when the structure was being demolished in Maharashtra's Thane city on September 1, a civic official told PTI.
The incident took place around 12.30 pm, when the demolition work was underway at a building declared dangerous by the civic authorities in Naupada area of the city, chief of the civic disaster management cell Yasin Tadvi told PTI.
A portion of the building fell on the compound wall of the adjoining structure, causing the wall to collapse, he said.
Tarun Pable who was walking on the road sustained head injury when a portion of the dangerous building fell on him, and he was rushed to a hospital, the official told PTI.
