The SSC result 2024 class 10 was released by the Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on May 27 at 1:00 PM. 95.81 per cent of pupils passed the SSC exam administered by the Maharashtra Board. 15,60,154 students from the state's nine divisional boards - Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan - registered for the exam in total; 14,84,431 of them passed. Yet again, Girls have outperformed boys with the pass percentage among girls this year being 97.21 per cent and 94.56 per cent among boys in the SSC result 2024.
With 99.01 per cent, the Konkan division has once again won the best-performing district title. Mumbai comes in second with 95.83 per cent, and Kolhapur with 97.45 per cent. Nagpur has the lowest pass percentage in terms of division, with 94.73 per cent. A solid 5,58,021 pupils achieved distinction marks, which are higher than 75%. This year, the overall pass percentage improved from last year which was 93.83 per cent, with girls at 95.70 per cent and boys at 92.05 per cent. The highest pass percentage was during the covid year 2021 with 99.95 per cent. Students who took the Maharashtra SSC 2024 can now check their scores on the official websites at mahresult.nic.in, mahahsscboard.in, and sscresult.mkcl.org.
