Shocking! 16-year-old boy rapes 4-year-old girl in Goregaon

In a shocking case a 16-year-old boy has been arrested for raping a 4-year-old-girl.

In a report published by the Mumbai Mirror, the Dindoshi police have arrested the boy after the baby girl's parents complained to the police. The boy allegedly lured the girl into his home and raped her.

According to the police the incident took place at around 4pm on July 1^st, when the girl was playing inside her building compound. The accused, lives in the adjacent building and allegedly asked the girl to come into this home and watch cartoons. Then the girl entered his home he locked the door from the inside and proceeded to rape her. When she began to scream, the boy panicked and dropped her outside her home.

She then complained to her parents who confronted the boy and his parents, who denied the incident.

Subsequently the victim was sent for medical tests by the Dindoshi police and the boy has been booked under 363 (kidnapping), 376 (rape), 354 (sexual harassment) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and section 5 & 6 (Punishment for aggravated penetrative sexual assault) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).

In a statement to Mumbai Mirror Dr. Vinay Kumar Rathod, DCP Zone 12, said, "The boy has been produced before the juvenile court and has been sent to the children's home in Dongri."
