NCP president Sharad Pawar called on Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on June 7, ahead of the CM's meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday.
According to sources, the two leaders discussed key issues to taken up before the Prime Minister.
Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray met a fortnight ago to discuss the political situation in the state and the Maha Vikas Aghadi government's handling of the Covid-19 situation.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will head to Delhi today to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will be accompanied by a delegation of senior ministers, including his deputy, Ajit Pawar. Thackeray will talk about the Maratha quota with the prime minister and also discuss cyclone relief measures and other issues.
