As many as seven new Covid-19 cases have been reported in Thane on November 1, taking its infection count to 1,97,240, as per data received by Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
With the addition of the latest cases on Tuesday, Thane currently has 132 active Covid-19 cases. The death toll in Thane remained unchanged at 2,163.

As per the bulletin, 13 Covid patients recovered, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,945. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.84 per cent.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Monday reported 169 Covid-19 cases, which took the state's tally to 81,31,913, while the death toll stood unchanged at 1,48,386.
