Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers in the capital market as they offloaded shares worth Rs 660.90 crore on Thursday, as per provisional exchange data. According to V K Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Financial Services, the best news for the economy and markets is coming from the Covid-19 data which has shown a dip in fresh cases to 1.75 lakhs during the last 24 hours.
