The unique concept of Ho Ho bus allows tourists to visit sites of their own choice and rejoin the tour on subsequent buses on the route on the same ticket of the day
The BEST on Friday launched the unique concept of Hop On, Hop Off (Ho-Ho) buses as a part of their major revival of citywide tourist circuit buses. The project was first reported by Mid-Day a few months ago. On Friday, the buses were launched at Worli depot.
The buses are similar to the tourist buses in London and other major cities. The HoHo buses will commence from Gateway of India to Juhu Chowpatty, touching upon several sights along the way. A total of 11 halts and 19 sightseeing points will fall along the route.
So far, the list of famous tourist spots in Mumbai includes, CSMT, Byculla Zoo / Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Siddhivinayak Temple, Band Stand Bandra, Juhu Garden, Juhu Chowpatty, Bandra Worli Sea link, Nehru Science Centre/ Nehru Planetarium, Mani Bhavan, Hanging Garden, Aquarium, Wankhede stadium, Nariman Point and Mantralaya.

"The buses will have a frequency of 30 minutes and they will be available from 9 am to 8 pm. The daily bus pass will cost you Rs 250," a BEST spokesperson said.
