A Central Railway release on Wednesday said that message about recruitment in Railway Protection Force being circulated is "completely false and fake".
The message about "recruitment" in Railway Protection Force (RPF) triggered anxiety with Central Railway receiving several queries which turned out to be "fake", newswire PTI reported.
"A fictitious message is being circulated on the website of 'RTUEXAM.NET' regarding the recruitment for 4,208 vacancies of constables and 452 sub-inspectors in Railway Protection Force," a CR release said on Wednesday.
Neither the RPF nor the Ministry of Railways has issued such a notification on their official websites or through any print or electronic media, it stated.
