Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, speaking about the Pune luxury car accident, called for the removal of the city police commissioner on Tuesday. The accused of the Pune luxury car accident, a 17-year-old teenager, killed two persons.
According to a PTI report, Raut accused the police of filing a fraudulent report on the Pune luxury car accident and questioned who the Pune Police chief was protecting.
"The Pune police commissioner should be sacked. Who has he helped in this case? Two innocent persons lost their lives. The boy can be seen drinking in the pub. This is a corrupt police system and a corrupt MLA," he claimed without elaborating.
"Whom is the police commissioner trying to save? You are giving a false report," the Rajya Sabha member alleged, per PTI report.
