Shiv Sena (Shinde) MP Rahul Shewale and Uday Samant, cabinet minister for Industries, on Friday said the I.N.D.I.A alliance's meeting in Mumbai has had no effect on the NDA and called the members of the Opposition bloc a gang of scammers. They asserted that the Mahayuti will win more than 375 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, including all 48 seats in Maharashtra, and more than 215 of the 288 Assembly seats in the state elections.
Shewale said the I.N.D.I.A. alliance was a gang of scammers from across the country that have come together under one roof in Mumbai. "Those who are doing big scams in the country have gathered here. Around 40 thieves from 26 parties who committed scams worth several lakhs of crores, like the fodder scam, the 2G spectrum scam, the Delhi liquor scam, the Commonwealth scam, and COVID centre scam have come together in Mumbai," Shewale said.
"All the corrupt leaders from across the country have come to Mumbai for tourism. And Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray's son is going around to praise leaders who had criticised Balasaheb," said Samant.

Samant said that as the elections approached, some leaders have started alleging a plot to take Mumbai away from Maharashtra. "Only these people think that there is any such plan. We also live in Maharashtra, and we also love Mumbai. We wonder whether those talking about destroying Mumbai have the same intention," Samant said.
"Many tourists visit Mumbai and enjoy throughout the year. Even now, leaders from all over the country have come for tourism. Aaditya Thackeray should show them the penguins in the zoo and send them back. None of the leaders have the power or strength to face Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Leaders conducted the meeting only to preserve the political future of their children," Shewale said.
