On Tuesday, the air quality of Navi Mumbai was reported to be in the 'poor' category, as per the SAMEER app, with AQI at 220.

The AQI data mapped by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), further revealed that of the total six stations in Navi Mumbai, Koprivada-Vashi, Sanpada, Kalamboli reported 'poor' air quality with ARI at 262, 231 and 257 respectively.

Further, the data also revealed that Mumbai's Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 165, in the 'moderate' category around 9 am. Out of the total 22 stations in Mumbai, BKC, Deonar, Kherwadi, Sion areas reported 'poor' air quality on October 31 with AQI at 205, 210, 201, and 219 respectively.

The minimum temperature in Mumbai on Tuesday is likely to be 24 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 34 degrees Celsius.

Further, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) revealed that Borivali (East), Andheri's Chakala and Worli's Siddharth Nagar in Mumbai are the least polluted with AQI at 100, 66 and 98 respectively.

The data further reveals that the most prominent pollutant in Mumbai is PM 2.5 and O3. While the most prominent pollutant in Thane is PM10.

The most prominent pollutant in Navi Mumbai is PM 2.5.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
