The Western Railway (WR) on Friday said that there will be a change of platform for some trains at Borivli station in Mumbai. The change of platform will come into effect from February 11.
In the official statement, the WR said, "For the ease and convenience of the commuters at Borivali station, it has been decided to change the scheduled platform of few trains at Borivali with effect from February 11, 2023."
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of WR, the details of these trains are as under:
1. Churchgate - Borivali AC local train arriving Borivali at 08.22 hrs will be now dealt at Platform (PF) No. 3 instead of PF No. 2

2. Churchgate - Borivali local train arriving Borivali at 08.25 hrs will be now dealt at PF No. 2 instead of PF No. 3
3. Borivali - Churchgate AC local train departing Borivali at 08.26 hrs will be now dealt at PF No. 3 instead of PF No. 2
4. Borivali - Churchgate local train departing from Borivali at 08.30 hrs will be now dealt at PF No. 2 instead of PF No. 3
"Passengers are requested to kindly take note of the above changes," the statement further said.

In another statement the WR said that there would be a no day block on WR on Sunday.
It said that a night block between Vasai Road and Vaitarna stations would be taken up on February 12.
The WR said, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of three hours will be taken on up fast lines from 23.50 hrs to 02.50 hrs and down fast lines from 01.30 hrs to 04.30 hrs between Vasai Road and Vaitarna stations during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, i.e. on 11th/12th February, 2023.
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, during the block period, Train No. 09101 Virar-Bharuch MEMU will be delayed by 15 minutes and hence will depart from Virar at 04:50 hrs instead of its scheduled departure at 04:35 hrs. Therefore, there will be a no day block on Sunday.
