Water supply will be completely cut in some parts of Parel on October 5 and 6, said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials on Monday.
The BMC is undertaking technical works to streamline the supply in Parel, Kalewadi and Naigaon areas. The water supply in the area will be cut for 24 hours from 10 am on Tuesday (October 5) to 10 am on Wednesday (October 6), added the officials.
During the period 750 mm diameter pipeline and 450 mm diameter pipeline will be connected inside the area of Golanji Hill Reservoir.

Water supply at G. D. Ambekar road up to 50 tenements, Eknath Ghadi Marg, Paral Gaon road, Nanabhai Paralkar road, Bhagwantrao Paralkar road, Vijaykumar Walimbhe road, S. P. Compound, Parashuram Nagar, Jijamata Nagar, Ambewadi, Saibaba Road, Mint Colony, Ram Tekdi will be cut on Tuesday. Whereas Jerbai Wadia Marg at Naigaon, Spring Mill Chawl, Ambekar road, Govindji Keni road, Shetye Bazar, Bhoiwada village and Halfkin daily will not get water supply on Wednesday.
