On Monday morning, services on Western Railway's line were impacted after an air-conditioned local train halted at the Grant Road station due to a technical snag. Western Railway officials said that the snag was promptly resolved and the services restored.
According to their communication, the incident happened around 7.58 am today wherein the AC local halted on UP fast line on Grant Road's platform number 4.
"There was a technical issue in an AC local on UP fast line at 7.58 hrs at GrantRoad station PF No 4 due to which the train was unable to move. Issue resolved . The train started," the Western Railway said in their statement.
The technical snag caused a minor disturbance for passengers, however normal operations resumed after the issue was resolved on schedule. Re
