The Western Railway on Monday, July 31, said that the suburban trains are running late due to what the railway department described as "signal failure" at Andheri.
Western Railway's public relations officer said that the authorities are making a "detailed investigation of (the) failures".
A Twitter user @rozesandbuds took to the social media platform seeking accountability as the trains are reportedly running late. "The 10:02 am vasai local is running late by 30 mins. It's 10:23 AM now. This isn't the first time in the past two months where a #mumbailocal has been late by more than 5 mins. What happened to the punctuality?" the user wrote.
