Mumbai sees 111 new Covid-19 cases and one death

Mumbai on Monday reported 111 COVID-19 cases, and one death. The tally in the city is now at 11,51,453. At least 100 of the patients are asymptomatic.

Mumbai on Sunday had reported 172 COVID-19 cases, and no fatalities.

At least 11 of the patients who tested positive on Monday were hospitalised and six of them are on oxygen support.

There were 62 patients who recovered and Mumbai currently has 907 active patients. The death was that of an 81-year-old man with acute respiratory tract infection.

In all 4,009 tests were done in the city. There were 6,974 tests done in the city on Sunday.

Mumbai's doubling rate is 7,781 days. The recovery rate stayed constant at 98.2 per cent. There are no containment zones or sealed buildings.
