Mumbai reported 62 new cases of Covid-19 and one death on Thursday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) said in a bulletin.
As per the Civic body, the deceased was a 88-year-old man with comorbidity hypertension
With fresh cases, the tally rose to 11,54,229 and the death toll to 19,741.

The city is now left with 587 active cases after 58 patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours, taking the number of recoveries so far to 11,33,901.

The recovery rate stands at 98.2 per cent, while the doubling rate of cases is 8,983 days, the bulletin stated.
