Mumbai Police on October 28 issued an advisory for property owners and landlords of properties in the city looking to rent out their premises.
The police in its advisory asked property owners and landlords to furnish details of the premises and the person to whom the premises had been rented.
It said that due to the situation prevailing in the areas under the jurisdiction of the Mumbai Police Commissionerate, it is apprehended that subversive/anti-social elements may seek hideouts in the residential areas and there is every likelihood of breach of peace and disturbance of public tranquility with grave danger to human life and injury to private/ public property on that account.
