The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is upgrading its SAP software and so the system will be shut down from June 11 to 28. During this period, citizens and BMC employees will not be able to carry out any transactions including citizen services, issuance of purchase orders or processing payments, etc. However, services other than those on the SAP (systems, applications and products) system like property tax payment, water bill payment and building plan approval will be available to citizens on other sites.

The BMC is migrating to another version of SAP and a new cloud services contract for which the downtime is approximately 15 days. This will be done from 8 pm on June 11 to 8 am on June 28. During this period, the SAP servers will be migrated to another data centre and will be converted to a SAP HANA platform. Services other than those on the SAP software will be available. The property tax payment facility will be available on https://ptaxportal.mcgm.gov.in, water bill payment facility will be available on https://aquaptax.mcgm.gov.in and building plan approval system on https://autodcr.mcgm.gov.in

As the BMC is going to use eProcurement System of the government of Maharashtra, the tendering processes of all departments will continue.
