The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday announced that the vaccination drive at the public centres will remain suspended from Thursday, November 4, to Sunday, November 7. It will resume on Monday.
The civic body said there is nothing to panic, as it has an adequate stock of vaccines against COVID-19. If the citizens want to take their shot during the next four days, they would have to go to private vaccination centres or wait for the civic- and state-run facilities to reopen on November 8.
"The corporation has adequate stocks of COVID-19 vaccines. The vaccination campaign will resume on Monday, November 8, 2021. A humble appeal is being made to the citizens of Mumbai to cooperate with the BMC administration," a statement from the BMC read.
