Mumbai: Metro riders give MMRDA chief thumbs up for improved facilities

In an unprecedented move, Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, metropolitan commissioner, MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority), recently directly engaged with Mumbai Metro commuters. He interacted with commuters during their journeys on the Mumbai Metro.

According to a tweet by the MMRDA, "Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA & CMD @MMMOCL_Official took proactive steps to engage directly with Mumbai Metro commuters. The feedback he received was overwhelmingly positive, with commuters expressing their satisfaction and recognising the clear dedication to improving city transportation."

According to the video tweeted by MMRDA on its official handle @MMRDAOfficial, commuters speaking to Dr Mukherjee expressed the health benefits of travelling by the Metro. When he interacted with women, they expressed the feeling of safety while travelling on the Metro. Another commuter expressed happiness about the comfort and affordability. Dr Mukherjee is also seen interacting with a child in the video. The commuters expressed various feelings about the Mumbai Metro with the MMRDA metropolitan commissioner.
