As per the announcement made by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the M/E and M/W wards will face 24 hour water cut issue from August 24 (10 am ) to August 25 (10 am).
The release from civic body read that the water supply will remain closed due to technical reasons.
"The municipal corporation appeals to citizens to use water carefully during this period," read the release.
According to the civic body, the repair works of Trombay high level reservoir of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation have been completed. After these works, filling of water through inlet (1800 mm) will be undertaken from Thursday, August 24, 2023 to Friday, August 25, 2023.

The water supply to certain localities in 'M East' and 'M West' sections will be closed from 10.00 am on Thursday to 10.00 am on Friday.
"Citizens of the concerned localities should keep the necessary stock of water before the water supply is cut off," added the release.
