The Western Railway on Friday, while sharing Mumbai local train updates, said that it will operate a jumbo block between Santacruz and Goregaon stations on Sunday.
In an official statement, the Western Railway said that to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a jumbo block of five hours will be taken on up and down fast line between Santacruz and Goregaon stations. The jumbo block will be operated from 10:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs on Sunday, 11th February. 2024.
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all up and down fast line trains will be operated on up and down slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations. Due to this, some up and down suburban services will remain cancelled. Also some Andheri and Borivali trains will be operated up to Goregaon on Harbour line.
"Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned station masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements," the Western Railway said in the statement.

Meanwhile, in an another statement, the Western Railway said, a block of 1 hr and 30 minutes will be taken on 10th and 11th February, 2024 from 01.50 hrs to 03.20 hrs and 1 hr 15 minutes. The block will be taken on 12th, 13th & 14th February, 2024 from 01.50 hrs to 03.05 hrs for dismantling and de-launching of PSC girders at Saphale Road Over Bridge.
The Western Railway said that the block will be undertaken on up and down main line between Kelve Road - Saphale station, due to which few Western Railway trains will be regulated.
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of these trains are as under:-
Regulation of Trains:
1. Train No. 19038 Barauni- Bandra Terminus Avadh Express will be regulated by 50 minutes on 10th & 11th February, 2024 and by 40 minutes on 12th, 13th& 14th February, 2024.
2. Train No. 22946 Okha - Mumbai Central Saurashtra Mail will be regulated by 30 minutes on 10th, 12th, 13th & 14th February, 2024 and by 40 minutes on 11th February, 2024.
3. Train No. 11087 Veraval - Pune Express will be regulated by 40 minutes on 11th February, 2024.
4. Train No. 09621 Ajmer - Bandra Terminus weekly special will be regulated by 40 minutes on 12th February, 2024.
5. Train No. 19004 Bhusaval - Borivali Express will be regulated by 40 minutes on 12th February, 2024 & 14th February, 2024.
6. Train No. 11049 Ahmedabad - Kolhapur Express will be regulated by 35 minutes on 12th February, 2024.
7. Train No. 20942 Ghazipur City - Bandra Terminus Express will be regulated by 40 minutes on 13th February, 2024.
8. Train No. 20475 Bikaner - Pune Superfast Express will be regulated by 35 minutes on 13th February, 2024.
9. Train No. 11089 Bhagat ki Kothi - Pune Express will be regulated by 35 minutes on 14th February, 2024.
