Mumbai: Live bullets recovered at Goregaon

The Aarey police have recovered 45 live cartridges from a dirty corner of a street near Oberoi Exquisite Tower in Goregaon East.

The size of the cartridges is 2.5 mm which is the standard size for usage in pistols, the cops said.

The bullets were spotted by a man and he alerted a friend who works at Kurar police station.

A case has been filed against an unidentified person under the Arms Act and police are scanning CCTV footage from the area, an official said.

The Aarey police have sent the cartridges for examination to a forensic laboratory.
