A JCB driver was trapped under soil after it collapsed near Versova Bridge in Vasai late Wednesday night while digging. An officer's container was also buried, but villagers rescued approximately six individuals.
The incident occurred at Versova Bridge on the Thane-Mira Bhayandar Highway. The Kashimira police and fire departments responded swiftly to the situation and began rescue operations. There have been no casualties reported thus far.
Police said the incident occurred at 9:30 pm while the JCB driver was digging. The container held roughly six to seven people, including labourers.

Suddenly, the soil collapsed, trapping both the JCB and its driver. The container was likewise buried beneath the dirt.
Passengers on the Western Express Highway came to a stop and helped with the rescue operations. The natives saved about six to seven people.
