Five, including three children, were injured after a lift collapsed in a Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) building in Mumbai's Andheri East on Monday.
According to India Today report, the lift crashed from the ninth floor at a SRA building on Azad Road, Gondivli. The BMC officials confirmed that all injured were shifted to hospital and are stable.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials reached the spot when they were alerted about the incident. However, the cause of the mishap is not known.
