A fire broke out on the sixth floor of a building in Santacruz on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the incident was reported on August 15 at around 3.47 pm.
The MFB reported it to be a level 1 fire incident.
The incident took place in the Haripreet building, Tagore Road, Opp Poddar School, in Santacruz (West).

The building is ground plus seven storey.
"Fire was confined to the sixth floor of a residential building," the official said.
Two people were rescued by MFB from the 6th floor by donning BA Set through the staircase.
"One of the injured was sent to Cooper Hospital in 108 ambulance," the official informed.
A 65-year-old male identified as Nitesh Joshi, was declared brought dead by the medical officer around 4.44 pm. Another rescued person was treated and discharged by onsite 108 ambulance doctor," added the BMC official.
