Mumbai: CSMT gets global look with new indicative boards

In order to give an international look and feel to the iconic World Heritage Site station, the Central Railway has installed new indicative board and signage facilities at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT).

CSMT's suburban zone has platform numbers 1 to 7 and three indicative boards. Platform numbers 8 to 18 platforms have been provided with 2 indicative boards.

The signages have large fonts displaying the platform numbers of suburban and long distance trains, which will help passengers easily locate the platform even from a distance.

Apart from this, facilities like electric charging stations, escalators, baggage sanitizer machines etc. are also available at the station.
