In a troubling incident, a Bollywood make-up artist in bhayander was caught pimping models to customers. The artist mainly targetted aspiring models who had just come to the city with hopes of landing a role in the film industry.
The make-up artist was arrested on Saturday. A report in the Times of India states that Mumbai police officials led by assistant superintendent Atul Kulkarni, launched an operation to catch the woman red-handed.
Posing as potential customers, police officials struck up a deal for Rs 1 lakh in exchange for two girls. The victims were aspiring models aged 26 and 27 years, who had no idea about the woman's intentions.
