The Kurla Government Railway Police (GRP) on Saturday visited the residence of a woman accused of harassing suicide victim Sudhir More to the police of taking the extreme step, but returned empty handed. A Shiv Sena (UBT) faction leader, More, 62, was found dead on the railway tracks at around 11.30 pm on Thursday near the Ghatkopar railway station. After his son alleged that he was being harassed by one Nilima Chavan, a lawyer and social worker, the Kurla GRP had registered an FIR in the matter.

"We examined Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera footage at the station and saw that More was speaking to someone on the phone just before his death. We visited the Vikhroli address where Chavan was staying, but found that she has shifted to a new place. We will be officially summoning her for inquiries," said an officer with the Kurla GRP. The police also visited More's residence on Saturday but his family was not in a position to speak, the officer said.
