Mumbai Police on Wednesday detained the building contractor and a supervisor of the under-construction Four Seasons Residency building in Worli area after two men lost their lives due to cement blocks falling on them from its 42nd floor.

Cement blocks fell on Sabir Ali Sakir Ali (37) and Imran Ali Khan (29) while they were having tea at a stall near the building, he said.

Both of them were declared dead before admission at the hospital.
On Wednesday, a First Information Report was registered under IPC section 304 (A) (causing death due to negligence) against the contractor, supervisor and others involved in the construction work, the police official said.
The contractor and supervisor were being questioned at the Worli police station, he added.
