Suburban services on CR remained affected for the third consecutive day after a signalling panel was replaced. Commuters questioned the continuous delay and said railway officials should be held accountable for the resultant mess.
Railway services have been largely affected since the change of the panel at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus into an electronic interlocking system.
"Railways needs to improve punctuality and set things right. There has been a delay in trains every single day and during rush hour and one needs to question the team," commuter Prakash Tanna said.

The divisional railway manager's official social media account apologised and said, "We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the delay in our local trains in Mumbai. The inconvenience this may have caused to your travel plans. The delay is due to the bunching of trains."
