On August 28, I approached the police station."
He said that his son was interested in investing in the stock market, "My son had recently invested and lost R50,000. He had spoken about it to my wife. He had told his mother not to say a word about this to me. He then borrowed money from friends, relatives and acquaintances to invest more money," the
father added.
According to Ashraf, the family hails from Kerala. Fazil had come to Mumbai to pursue his degree quite recently and is unfamiliar with the city. He is pursuing his degree from HR College. According to Ashraf, R1 lakh has been missing from his bank account since Fazil went missing.
