According to data released by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the water level in Tansa stands at 98.61 per cent.

Modak-Sagar has a water stock of 99.50 per cent, the data added.

The water stock in Middle Vaitarna and Bhatsa are at 98.89 per cent and 99.43 per cent, respectively.

Upper Vaitarna has reached 99.58 per cent, while Vihar and Tulsi reservoirs are at full capacity, holding 100 per cent of their useful water levels.

As of October 3, the combined volume of water in these seven lakes is recorded at 14,37,471 million liters, slightly below their total capacity of approximately 14,47,363 million liters.

Yesterday, on October 2, 2023, the average rainfall in the Mumbai Metropolitan area, measured from 8 am to today (October 3, 2023) at 8 am, was - Mumbai City: 0.02 mm, Eastern Suburbs: 0.04 mm, and Western Suburbs: 0.01 mm.

On Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasted generally cloudy skies over Mumbai and its suburbs. It also predicted light to moderate rain and thundershowers in the city.

The weather department also predicted intermittent showers throughout the day.

High tide is predicted at 2:04 pm, reaching a height of 4.08 meters, followed by a low tide at 8:08 pm with a depth of 0.52 meters. Additionally, tomorrow, on October 4, 2023, a high tide is expected at 03:01 am, peaking at 4.28 meters, and a low tide at 08:42 am, with a depth of 1.79 meters.
