The Mumbai division of Central Railway on Friday said that it will operate a mega block on the Trans-Harbour line on Sunday.
In an official statement, the Central Railway said that there will be no mega bock on the main line and the Harbour line on October 29.
It said that the Central Railway will operate a mega block on Trans-Harbour line for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday.
The Central Railway also shared the details of the mega block as under-

Duration of Block: 11.10 am to 4.10 pm (5 hours)
Up and Down Trans-Harbour line services will remain suspended between Vashi / Nerul and Thane stations during block period.
Down line services for Vashi / Nerul / Panvel leaving Thane from 10.35 am to 4.07 pm and Up train services for Thane leaving Vashi / Nerul / Panvel from 10.25 am to 4.09 pm will remain cancelled.
"These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused," the Central Railway said.
Meanwhile, in an another statement on Thursday, the Central Railway said that the operation of Integrated Traffic and Power Blocks between Titwala and Kasara stations in the North-east section of Mumbai. These blocks are necessary for conducting various significant infrastructure-related works, the officials said in a media statement.
The block will be conducted on the intervening night of Saturday (October 28) and Sunday (October 29) for a duration of five hours. It will come in effect at 12.30 am and will continue till 5.30 am in the subsequent morning.
According to the statement, the works include the launching of a PSC girder at the bridge between Umbarmali and Kasara stations. The railway said that the girder would be launched using a road crane. The officials said an RH Girder will be inserted at level crossing number 67, situated at Km 87/400 between Asangaon and Aatgaon Stations.
They further stated that a signal gantry will be launched between Khadavali and Vashind stations during the block and they will also be de-launching N-type girders of 4.5 meters width for a Foot-over-Bridge by Maharashtra Rail Vikas Corporation (MVRC) at Kasara Railway station. They said during the block various other shadow blocks will also be conducted.
