A body of unidentified man was found in a luggage compartment of a local train on Tuesday morning at Panvel railway station.
The body was noticed by a passenger around 10 am.

According to the police, the deceased is in the age group of 35 to 40. The Panvel Railway police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are trying to establish the identity of the deceased.

According to railway police sources, the local train where the body was found came from Kurla, and was leaving for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 9.53am.
