The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has initiated the 'One Signature for a Bright Future' campaign under which the students from colleges across Mumbai will be educated about the various developmental initiatives undertaken by the Modi government. The campaign will encourage students to provide suggestions for further improvement, as informed by Mumbai BJP President MLA Ashish Shelar. The campaign was officially inaugurated at Ruia College in Matunga on Monday, an official statement said on Monday.
MLA Ashish Shelar emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dedicated to the welfare and progress of students and the youth in general. The 'One Signature for a Bright Future' campaign plays a vital role in shaping the students' future and overall development, he added, expressing his confidence in its impact, the statement said.
Ashish Shelar said that at a time when other political parties are resorting to doing politics for petty gains, especially the Congress, Nationalist Congress Party, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena, MNS is busy criticising each other and working only for their gains instead of public interests, I am glad that the Bharatiya Janata Party's leaders are striving for the betterment of the people, the statement further said.
The official statement said that for the first time, Mumbai will get its much-deserved IIM and nearly 350 students will be able to pursue their MBA from the first year.
Now the youth from Mumbai and Maharashtra will not need to go outside the state. A long pending demand has now got fulfilled. Prime Minister Narendra Modi through reservation has facilitated poor students from the economically backward sections. Seats for medical students and for higher education in medicine has been increased. The number of universities has been increased by 39 per cent in the country. Through all these initiatives, Prime Minister Modi is working to brighten the future of India. And for this, we are seeking cooperation from the students and also taking suggestions from them, said MLA Adv. Ashish Shelar.
On this occasion, large number of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists were present along with BJYM Mumbai President Tajinder Singh Tiwana, the statement said.
