A talent manager of Bigg Boss 14 died in a road accident in Goregaon on Friday night. Pista Dhakad, (24) was returning home with her friend on a bike when it slipped into a pit and was run over by a vanity van.
An offence has been registered in Dindoshi police station regarding the incident and the driver of the van has been arrested.
Pista worked with production house Endemol India and was associated with several shows including The Voice, Bigg Boss and Khatron ke Khiladi.
According to the offence registered at Dindoshi police station, Pista had left the set of Bigg Boss at around 12 am on Saturday with her friend. When she was still near the Film City, her bike skidded. Both the girls fell on the road; however, one of the passing vanity vans ran over Pista. She was taken to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital, Kandivli where she was declared dead on arrival.

"The road was dark so the bike slipped, Pista, who was riding pillion, fell down and came under the rear tyre of a passing vanity van," told Dharmednra Kamble, Senior Inspector of Dindoshi police station.
"Driver of the van Arun Pawar (55) has been arrested, he is booked under IPC section 304A (causing death by negligence) and 279 (rash driving) and other relevant sections of Motor Vehicle Act" he added.
Actors Kamya Panjabi, Prince Narula, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Himanshi Khurana on Saturday expressed their grief over the untimely demise of Bigg Boss talent manager Pista Dhakad.
"You reside in our heart in a way that it seemed we knew you since childhood. I haven't seen a positive person like you. Someone who always wanted good of everyone and who used to always stay happy," Narula posted on Instagram.
"Rest in peace my girl..I am going to miss you my pista badamâ¦Condolences and strength to her family & friends," Devoleena Bhattacharjee wrote.
Kamya Punjabi, Yuvika Chaudhary, Shenaz Gill, Jasmin Bhasin too offered their condolences.
