According to the SAMEER app, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Mumbai was reported to be in the 'moderate' category on Saturday morning, which showcases the AQI mapped by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The minimum temperature in Mumbai on Saturday is likely to be at 26 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 35 degrees Celsius.
Mumbai's Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 166, in the 'moderate' category, around 9 am. Further Navi Mumbai reported 'poor' air quality with AQI of 212 and Thane's AQI stood at 178, in the 'moderate' category.
The data further revealed that of the total 22 stations in Mumbai, areas that reported 'poor' air quality included Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Andheri's Chakala, Deonar, Malad west, Mazgaon, Sion - will AQI ranging between 200 to 300.

The data further reveals that the most prominent pollutant in Mumbai is PM10. While the most prominent pollutant in Thane is O3.
The most prominent pollutant in Navi Mumbai is PM 2.5 and PM10.
The IMD has predicted a mainly clear sky in Mumbai.
Further, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) revealed that the Borivali area in Mumbai is the least polluted with AQI at 101.
An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
