A Scorpio car with over 20 gelatin sticks was found just 600 metres away from Antilia, the residence of Reliance chief Mukesh Ambani, at Altamound Road on Thursday night, said police sources. Many number plates were found inside the vehicle.
Gelatin sticks are used as an explosive device.
Mumbai traffic police had clamped the vehicle earlier around 4.30 pm as it was parked illegally in high security area. The car was parked at the spot on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. The car's registration number is fake, said police sources. CCTV footage of the area are being scanned to find who parked the vehicle, added the sources.
