In a tragic incident, a 19-year-old man ended his own life by hanging himself to a tree at the police training ground in Kalina on Wednesday night. Police said the deceased was an alcoholic and he was in depression due the financial issues. The Vakola Police registered an Accidental Death Report and started an investigation into the matter.
The deceased is identified as Sagar Kagda (19), a resident of Sharekhan Nagar at Vakola at Santacruz East. Police didn't find any suicide note. Police sent the body for the postmortem and started an investigation into this matter.
According to the police officials, the incident occurred on Wednesday night at around 9 pm inside the Police training ground at Kalina.

Senior Inspector Prakash Khandekar said, "We received information at night and we rushed to the spot. He was found hanging to a tree. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead. We received information from the family that he was in depression and was an alcoholic. We didn't find any suicide note. We are investigating this matter further."
