Mumbai's civic body, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced that the city will face water cut from May 17 to May 21.
The city will face 10 per cent water cut next week due to urgent repair of pneumatic valves at Pise dam, the civic body announced.
The work will start on Monday and hence the water cut will be in effect from the same day (May 17) to Friday (May 21).

The water cut will be across the city and the areas at the end of the water network or on the hilly parts will face more issues.
The BMC appealed to citizens to store water and also appealed to them that they co-operate with the BMC administration during this period.
