According to her, "On Wednesday last week, I received a Facebook message from one Ayan Mukerji, who claimed he was a director and mentioned that he is working on a new film. He also offered me a role as his executive producer."

Later, considering it to be a good opportunity to establish herself in the industry, Nagar exchanged some messages with him. It was during this back and forth that âMukerji' asked of her, "What I will get if I give you work? (sic)" followed by many others that pressured her to cave in. Interestingly, when Nagar logged in the next day, the account she was corresponding with had been shut down and was no longer available to peruse.
He says 'not me'
Nagar says, "So after two days, first, I made the exchange public by posting it online and then after that, I contacted the real Ayan Mukerji on his cellphone to ask him if he was aware of the proposition on his behalf." While Mukerji didn't reply to her, he immediately updated his verified Facebook account and clarified that it wasn't him. He wrote, "Hello. I've been getting a few calls from friends and family that an impostor is using my name on facebook making lewd conversations with aspiring actors and even asking for money. Please be careful, that's not me! This is me!"

Following this, she approached the Oshiwara police station, filed a complaint against Mukerji and demanded that the police determine if it was the real Mukerji or an imposter who made the indecent advances at her.
Police says
Oshiwara police said that they have received the complaint and recorded Nagar's statement. Further investigations to determine the real identity of the person are now underway.
Additionally, since no FIR has been lodged and it's a cyber crime, the complaint will soon be transferred to the cyber cell for future action.
