A special court in Mumbai on Thursday extended the ED custody of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Minister Nawab Malik till March 7.
Malik was produced before the special court today as his Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody was scheduled to end. He was represented by Senior Advocate Amit Desai, while ASG Anil Singh appeared for ED.
The NCP leader was arrested last week in connection with a money laundering probe allegedly linked to the activities of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim and his aides. Malik was produced in a special PMLA court where it claimed the NCP leader was "actively" involved in "terror funding".
