Members of the Maratha Kranti Morcha bank on online groups to ensure community members Mumbai join in large numbers
It seems members of Maratha Kranti Morcha want the August 9 protest march in Mumbai to be a big hit, and to that end, in a bid to garner more support from the Maratha community in Mumbai, 36 WhatsApp groups, dedicated to important areas, have been made, where strategies are being discussed.
Every group has been asked to make sure that the message to participate in the morcha reaches every member of the community.

Given the huge support these morchas have been getting from across the state, the number of people expected to turn up on Wednesday for the 58th, and last, protest is likely to be more than a lakh, according to the organisers.
Media coordinator of the morcha, S Patil said, "The morcha that is going to take place in Mumbai is going to be a historic one; 10,000 volunteers have been given various tasks related to organising and managing the crowd, because we want the morcha to take place in a systematic manner without causing any inconvenience to anyone."
Anticipating a huge turnout, the BMC has said it will make arrangements for mobile toilets, for the convenience of the participants as well as to avoid any hygiene issues.
