The long wait for a ride in the 11.04-km Versova Andheri Ghatkopar (VAG) Metro is almost over, as Metro rail officials promise to start services in a few weeks from now.

Speaking to sunday mid-day, Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) PS Baghel said, "By Tuesday we will decide on the inspection date. I will check the civil works and rolling stock. The certification process is expected to be completed in 10 days."

The trains leave from the second floor, and ticket counters, ATM machines and food stalls are on the first floor.

Every station has a public toilet.
