Mumbai Traffic Police on Saturday issued traffic restriction in south Mumbai ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra Monsoon Session in the city.
In a traffic notification, Mumbai Traffic Police said, In order to ensure smooth traffic flow and minimize inconvenience to the public during the upcoming Maharashtra Monsoon session starting from 17th July 2023 to 4th August 2023, and to avoid inconvenience to the members of the public a traffic notification was being issued for the city.
The traffic notification was issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Mumbai, Gaurav Singh.
It said that a directive to temporarily suspend pay and park services and impose parking restrictions on certain roads, a traffic notification was being issued.

The measures will be in effect from 17th July 2023 to 4th August 2023, the traffic notification said.
It said that during this period, there shall be no parking on the below mentioned roads and the existing pay and park shall be suspended.
1) Jamanal Bajaj Marg (from its junction with Usha Mehta Chowk upto dead end of the road)
2) Vinay K Shah Marg (from its junction with Jamanal Bajaj Marg upto its junction with Murli Deora Chowk)
3) Dorabaji Tata Road (from its junction with Murli Deora Chowk upto its junction with Genda Point)
4) Ramnath Goenka Marg (from its junction with Sakhar Bhavan upto its junction with Vidhan bhavan Marg)
5) Vidhan Bhavan Marg (as and when required) (from its junction with Union bank building upto its junction with Madam Cama Marg)
No Parking Restrictions
The traffic notification further said that from the period- 17/07/2023 to 04/08/2023, there shall be no parking for all types of vehicles on both sides of Barrister Rajni Patel Marg

Road Closure
The traffic notification further said, from the period- 17/07/2023 to 04/08/2023 the following road shall be closed-
1) Vidhan Bhavan Marg shall be closed to all vehicular traffic from Union Bank gate upto its junction with Madam Cama Road except emergency vehicles like fire Brigade, Police, Ambulances etc.
2) Ramnath Goenka Marg shall be closed for all vehicular traffic ( as and when required) from Sakhar Bhavan upto its junction with Vidhan Bhavan except emergency vehicles like Fire Brigade, Police, Ambulances etc.
